Skip the kitten stage.
A mature companion already knows the house rules and the litter box. Their personality and striking eye colour are fully formed, so you know exactly what you're getting from day one.
Meet Derp
Every few years, we retire one of our beloved breeding cats and look for a special forever home where they can enjoy life as cherished family companions.
We currently have Derp, our beautiful 4-year-old spayed Siberian female, available to the right home.
Derp is a devoted, people-oriented girl who loves being near her person. She is the kind of cat who will follow you from room to room, keeping you company throughout the day. Whether you're making dinner, brushing your teeth, working around the house, or relaxing for the evening, Derp wants to be involved. She is rarely far away and is happiest when she can be close to her family.
She is especially affectionate in her own sweet way. Derp loves head scratches, chin rubs, and giving enthusiastic head bumps to the people she loves. When it's time to settle down, she'll often curl up at your feet, content simply to be near you. She also has an adorable habit of snuggling up near your pillow and gently nuzzling into your hair as if she's grooming you.
Derp forms deep bonds with her people and thrives on companionship. She would likely do best in a calm home without dogs, where she can settle in comfortably and enjoy being an active and cherished part of daily life.
One of the many advantages of adopting an adult Siberian is knowing exactly who you're bringing home. Derp's personality is already well established, so there is no guessing about her temperament. She is a loyal, affectionate companion who is ready to trade motherhood for a lifetime of being someone's treasured pet.
For those who love the Siberian breed but would prefer to skip the kitten stage, a retired adult can be an exceptional choice. Adult cats often transition beautifully into family life and have so much love to give.
Adoption Fee: $1,500
We will be looking for a home that will cherish Derp as much as we do. She has been an important part of our family, and we hope to find someone who will appreciate her loving nature, constant companionship, gentle head bumps, and loyal presence for years to come.

Adult cat questions
Why would I choose an adult Siberian?
Adults skip the kitten phase, so they are calmer, already litter trained and have a fully formed personality. You see their finished looks, including eye colour. They suit busy households and older adults.
Who are your retired breeders?
Retired breeders are queens who have finished their breeding career and are spayed before going to a pet home. Opal, a group 1 Siberian, is a recent example. See our Adult Cats page for who is available.
Are adult Siberians shy?
Some are quiet at first, but they usually warm up quickly in a calm home. Canned food often makes fast friends. Give them time and space.
How long does an adult cat take to adjust?
Most settle within two to four weeks. Shy cats may take longer, while bold cats make friends in a few days. A quiet room at the start helps.
Are adult Siberians litter trained?
Yes, retired breeders are fully litter trained. You will not have to deal with accidents or training. Just keep the box clean.
Do adult Siberians still have low allergens?
Their lower Fel d 1 levels remain through life. Individual cats vary. Spending time with the cat before adopting is best if you have allergies.
How much does an adult Siberian cost?
Pricing varies by cat, age and circumstances. Derp's adoption fee is $1,500. Contact us and we will tell you about each available adult.
Can adult cats be shipped or delivered?
Yes, we can arrange delivery or flights just as with kittens. Retired breeders are health tested before leaving. Contact us for a quote.
